Raw and intense in its approach, Hip Hop album On My Way marks the debut album from all new Eastern European artist 90’S-G. Inspired by some of the most impactful hardships he’s experienced, the album highlights these themes with downbeat, Trap & Afro-beats flavoured instrumentals and a range of hard hitting flows. 90’S G recalls breaking up with his partner, losing his job, losing important connections and much more in the lead up to this project, which is detailed throughout. A standout feature of this album is 90’S-G’s distinctive tone and auto-tuned voice, a style to entrance listeners as they cycle through the project. Standout tracks include “I Can Handle” for the empowering switch in pace and energy, as the rapper stresses his persistence in the face of struggle, and Drill infused “Holding Pain”, an insightful track sharing the details of 90’S-G obstacle-ridden life. Written as an outlet for his emotions during a time in jail, this project serves to tell the story of this rapper, who whittled down around 30 songs in the creation of this finalized album.
