Ace Rose’s Insight
Speaking on the meaning behind “Go For Broke,” Ace Rose shares, “I started with the melodic idea of the chorus, and then in fleshing out the song, the themes unveiled themselves to me lyrically. I ended up with a song that was an internal message to myself. Going for something and having to sacrifice people and situations because they were holding me back.”
“Go For Broke” is not just an anthem for dreamers; it resonates with those who have overcome hardships and are relentlessly working towards their goals. Ace Rose’s transcendent message, coupled with his distinctive style, positions “Go For Broke” as a classic in the making.
A Visual Experience
To further embody the message of the song, Ace Rose has paired it with a compelling music video. Recounting his day on set, Ace Rose shares, “On the set of GFB it was freezing and extremely windy, so I did the most logical thing. I thought it would be a sick idea to climb on top of a broken plane carcass to get drone shots. I regretted that idea the second I had to stand up on the thing and felt the wind trying to knock me off it. I also only used that footage for about 10 seconds in the video. It was completely worth it but I wouldn’t do that shit again!”
