In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Adie and his brand new single titled “Dope!”.
This song was performed and produced by Adie. He was inspired by retro video games and old film scores for the instrumental. Adie has made an entire project of 7 songs (called EARTHBOUND) that focus on experimenting with 8-bit sounds and hip-hop. “Dope!” lyrically delves into the fine line between hustling and selling out, asking if the two things are always different. It’s a weary, “working class” banger about coming up and ascending by any means necessary.
