David “D.Ave” Davis is an artist inspired by the crooning vocals and immaculately-produced R&B of the late 90s and early 2000s. As the grandson of a gospel singer, D.Ave’s childhood was immersed in passionate, soulful melodies. With no professional training, or academic pathway into music, the Muskegon, Michigan-based artist has a voice that is as organic and raw as it gets. Here is an artist singing not because he wants to, but because he has to.
