Quote from the artist: “Inspired by events around me and the turn of relationships I’ve seen, “Spiteful” was born out of observation. Spite is something we have all given out or been on the receiving end of in different situations. People get caught in the cycle, trying to one up the other with the desire to hurt each other.
I’ve been a witness to something so sweet turning in to something sour and I wanted to really get that across in a record I know a lot of people will relate to.”
