In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Georgia Starnes and her forthcoming single titled “Think With My Heart (TWMH)”.
Georgia Starnes is a Pop/R&B artist born and raised in Dallas, TX and a graduate from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She recently made a splash in the music scene with her single “Symphony”, released in January 2019.
Her music fuses a unique blend of pop & contemporary R&B to create her own brand of the genre that she calls Glitter Soul, and her vocal styling is inspired by artists such as Jazmine Sullivan, Rihanna, Erykah Badu, and others.
Georgia has been blessed to experience life lessons at an early age and has been able to reflect them in her artwork and music with great depth and maturity. Her songwriting touches on deep issues such as love and relationships, break ups, heartbreak, growing pains, domestic violence, and witnessing family and friends struggle with addiction – all from a perspective beyond her years.
For her latest release “Think With My Heart (TWMH)”, Georgia has teamed up with Grammy award winning producer Shalom “J.Storm” Miller, who has worked with some of the most iconic music acts such as Beyonce, Missy Elliott, and Gwen Stefani. Georgia delves into the story of a young woman discovering the ups and downs of life, love and learning for the first time that blind love is not always true love.
“Think With My Heart” sets up the plot for future songs that share the rollercoaster story of her growth as she evolves from a “good girl gone bad” to hopefully eventually reaching redemption.
“Think With My Heart (TWMH)” will be available on all DSP’s on February 14th, 2023.
