In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Kay Soul and her brand new EP titled Connections.
Kay Soul is a recording artist, songwriter, plus model and aspiring actress. Kay began singing and writing songs in elementary school and recorded her first solo song at the age of 19. In April 2021, Kay Soul released “Strong Connection”, a soulful mid-tempo ballad that showed a more intimate and vulnerable side of the artist which was followed by a music video in June 2021. “Strong Connection” is Kay’s most streamed single and is currently nominated for 7 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, 5 Gospel Choice and 4 Prayze Factor awards including a nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Artist and vocal performance.
Kay’s new concept EP is titled Connections, a companion project to her earlier project In My Mind that will introduce 5 new stories examining connections both with ourselves and others. Her music can be heard on multiple platforms in countries around the world.
