In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Mike Scot and his brand new single titled “Cellular”.
24 years old born in D.C. Mike grew up in Prince Georges County Maryland and North Carolina. Mike started out making beats around the age of 17. He quickly fell in love and developed dreams of becoming an award-winning music producer. Living in a rural section of North Carolina provided limited opportunities to find artist with whom to work. So what did Mike do? He began singing over his own beats. Leaving his hometown he would attend Delaware State University where he experienced various relationships and life changing challenges. As he grew his music grew, in result he quickly gained popularity amongst his peers. To this day he continues to tell his story through his catchy melodic vibey tones blending R&B and Hip-Hop into his own unique style.
