About MyCompiledThoughts:
Born Carlheb Cemesca in Boston, MA, MyCompiledThoughts has always been driven by creativity. Growing up, he used journaling as a way to process his overflowing thoughts and emotions. His stage name, born out of his Tumblr musings, reflects his journey from self-reflection to musical exploration.
In 2011, he taught himself music production with a trial version of FL Studio, along with bass and piano. By 2024, he had become a respected name in the industry, not only producing his own music but also collaborating with artists such as Teamarr, Love Moor, and members of the Van Buren Collective. His signature sound—marked by a passion for distortion—was highlighted in an interview with Music Connection, where he discussed how he incorporates unique production techniques into his work.
MyCompiledThoughts’ 2024 release, “Soul Brother: Chapter 1”, showcased his deep influences from the 1970s and earned critical acclaim. Even Duran Duran frontman Simon LeBon cosigned the project, praising its “real New Jack swing sound” during his SIRIUS XM radio show.
