In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Noha Saré and her brand new single titled “Lost”.
“Lost” is a journey through Noha’s inner self. Noha sings about her struggling with physical and mental health and the hopelessness that accompanies it. Most everyone has different faces and multiple voices to listen to. Noha tries to explore these different faces; instead of avoiding them, she decides to look them straight in the eye.
The eye-catching video alongside the song is, just like her first release, directed by the 24 year old director, performer and visual artist (& best friend) Izak Berman.
For the video, Noha’s internal fight is embodied by 8 female performers. Two of them engage in a game of attraction and repulsion. The video shows an enchanting oscillation between pleasure and pain, past and future, hope and disbelief. Within a surreal composition, which seems to be somewhere between a dream and reality, Noha and Izak show us the obscure side of Noha’s world.
