Quote from the artist: “When I wrote the song “Shine” I was in a place of self loathing. It stemmed from a number of things, and it began to reflect in my everyday life; which in turn began to show up in my music. I used the record as a short of, self motivator. It’s something I wake up listening to, it’s a go to when moments of self doubt begin to creep up. I want everyone to be able to view and use this song is similar ways. It’s something that helped me escape a truly dark place. I want that for others.”
