Los Angeles native and hip-hop emcee UraelB is back with his latest project, NOSTALGIA—a deeply personal and immersive EP that serves as the first installment of his upcoming album, Respect The Real Vol. II. More than just a collection of tracks, NOSTALGIA is a raw and reflective journey through UraelB’s coming-of-age experiences growing up in South Central LA. - Smart Guy (Episode 1) – Setting the tone for the EP, this track introduces listeners to UraelB’s early years, where intellect and survival instincts were equally necessary.
- Dirty Toothbrush (Episode 2) – A gritty yet poetic recollection of the overlooked details of his youth, symbolizing perseverance in the face of adversity.
- Mo To The… (Episode 3) – A skit about a girl, who UraelB has met and is interested in, contemplating her thoughts on if pursuing him romantically is worth it or not.
- Aim 2 KiK It (Episode 4) – Closing out the EP with a song about pursuing different girls at a house party with his charming and witty nature. However, he and the girl from the previous track are supposed to be exclusive and him pursuing other girls at this party directly violates their relationship morals.
A Legacy of Authenticity
UraelB’s journey as an artist is one marked by purpose and authenticity. Born on September 15, 1998, in Inglewood, CA, he found solace in poetry and rap at the age of 13, eventually realizing music was his destiny by 18. He founded Respect The Real (RTR), an independent label inspired by his late grandmother, solidifying his commitment to truth and integrity in music. His debut album Demi God (2020) showcased his lyrical dexterity and spiritual depth, earning him recognition in the hip-hop community.
Since then, UraelB has expanded his reach, signing with Radius Music Group in 2023 and securing placements with major TV networks like LIFETIME and PEACOCK. Collaborations with industry giants such as Dontae Winslow, Ray Chew, Nelly, and Mick Jenkins further attest to his influence and artistic caliber.
