In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Winnie Ama and her brand new single titled “Don’t Worry”.
After a summer of bringing neo-soul, jazz and electro-pop to UK and Ireland festivals such as Electric Picnic, Latitude (where she headlined the BBC Introducing Stage) and Wireless – Winnie Ama is unleashing her uplifting new single ‘Don’t Worry’ at the end of Septemeber. This atmospheric track leads the way to Winnie’s upcoming debut EP.
With a keen desire to inspire positivity through her music, “Don’t Worry” is a celebration of living in the moment, that follows her journey of falling in love and the beauty of retrospect. Compared to her previous releases, the track is the natural progression of Winnie’s journey as an artist, following her desire for growth and exploration. With her aspirational outlook on life, Winnie’s music is becoming the go-to remedy for pains and aches of the heart and soul, with “Don’t Worry” cementing itself as a top-shelf bottle.
Speaking about the track, Winnie explains: ‘‘Don’t Worry’ is about following your dreams, living in the moment and embracing every part of the joy in front of you without reservation.”
Producer Simon le Saint harnesses Winnie’s elegant voice and songwriting with the ambient grace that it deserves, allowing her songwriting to shine. With Winnie’s momentum as a fast-rising performer in the UK and Ireland, ‘Don’t Worry’ has already become another head turner from her steady stream of live shows.
